This is a high quality steel machete manufactured in Columbia by Ciriri and modified by Southbay FMA. These training machetes feature an 18in blade which has been ground flat, rounded and covered with protective tape (blade must be retaped after any contact training). The entire blade is coated with a bright red paint safety finish. 5in handle. Ideal for light training against sticks or practice blades. Not for heavy contact! Not for training against humans! CAUTION: Always train under proper supervision. Always wear safety glasses when training. NOT for use against humans!
