  "It is without a doubt the BEST EVENT OF THE YEAR" and every year it gets better and better.  The event was, once again, very classy with everyone dressed to Impress.  The elegant ambience of MAJESTIC GARDENS definitely set the stage for all to get in to the HOLIDAY Spirit by enjoying the company of great people, awesome music, awards, give-away's, delightful food, etc..   With a capacity crowd of over 320 people the place was thriving with cheer and excitement.   Special guest included Hanshi Jerry Mercado, Sensei Mike Grodzicki, Sensei Miguel Garcia.  As usual the evening opened with a super demonstration by our own specialized DEMO TEAM...They all performed as champions.  Dynamic beat and super MC Billy Willets kept the entire crowd Dancing, Singing, Goofing Around, and Even played some Great Games with the Young ones.... It was an Evening of magic..

Our Special Guest of the evening was none other than Grand Master Robert "Sugar" Crosson And he was kind enough to present our UMAC FAMILY with a spectacular and highly entertaining Demonstration.

Wow... Thank you all for supporting our annual open house.  It was a beautiful glorious day.

All of you made the event a complete success.  We had delicious food, plenty of drinks and snacks.   The entertainment and events during the open house were exciting and captivating. The Bouncer and Games, supplied by Family Time Party Rentals are always a hit.  The DJ "Dynamic Beat Entertainment"; Kept us rockin and rollin all dayin their very unique way.  The Board Breaking was a smash hit as always, alot of you have more inner power than you think.  The magician "Magic or Amore" was fantastic.... he kept us guessing and laughing..  The UMAC DEMO TEAM...Did a Phenominal job they showed off in true UMAC fashion, Even Shihan Andrew Was Impressed.  Again, it was an event not to be missed...   The synergy and unity of all of the families and friends is truly symbol of what UMAC is all about.

 

 

 

It was a spectacular day at Smith Point Beach.  Great Weather, Awesome Surf, Cool Sea Breeze....And UMAC!!!!

Over Fifty people showed up at our annual beach workout.  Everyone had a great time, from 3 years old and up.  Long Time students to our Newest...It was truly a magical day filled with positive energy and friendly spirit. We did something special for every age group.

At Regular Class Times..Like a Tuesday!

 

Congratulations!   To Kevin Castine who has passed his Black Belt Test and is now a UMAC Sempai!  If you do not know our UMAC Brother Kevin has taken a job upstate and his family will be relocating.  And with that News Sensei Andrew and the Other Black Belts decided to put Kevin through a two and a half week Test.  Which at the very end Kevin was to spar 11 different people, which lasted almost fifteen minutes.  It was a high-spirited night.

 

Friday Nigh,t June 30^th, was the Day that Two of UMACS best Teaching Assistants Michelle Mills & Dawn Tolley, Were officially awarded the Title of SEMPAI, through a traditional ceremony........ Just After that is when Kevin Castine was awarded his belt and title. The room was filled with excitement and emotion, even some tears by Mrs. Castine.   The presentation was one of a kind and the speeches were heartfelt.  UMAC SPIRIT WAS IN THE HOUSE!

 

The Night of ceremonies ended with long time students of UMAC, Sempai Devin and Sempai Jeanne, being awarded the Title of SENSEI! And Sensei Andrew has been promoted to the title of SHIHAN!

 

Then approximately 30 people headed out to a local restaurant to celebrate the Castines big move, and to also make sure they knew they would be missed greatly!

 

So it will be a night remembered by all of UMAC! & to Assure people that UMAC is FAMILY!

Saturday May 6th, Plan an exciting evening & Leave your children with us here at UMAC...  You can feel assured that they are safe, cared for, and having a blast.  Drop off is at 5-6pm...pick up any time before 11pm.  

 

We will provide some food, snacks, drinks, and entertainment!

Wow.. Sijo Tom Gettling did a sensational job teaching and inspiring all of us here at UMAC.  All of the younger people loved his seminar and are still bragging about it.
