1983 samurai movie classic starring Sonny Chiba. A princess and 8 samurai battle the Hikima clan. Lots of good sword battles.This story follows Princess Shizu; played by Hiroko Yakushimaru; who is on the run from her enemies after her family members are found dead. As she escapes she crosses paths with a vagabond named Shinbei; played by Hiroyuki Sanada. Eventually she is rescued from her pursuers bys Dosetus; played by Sonny Chiba. It is he who tells her about the legend of a curse on her family and how to lift it.
