The storyline of Rawhide revolves around Lou Gehrig; who plays himself. Lou has apparently decided to give up baseball and his New York lifestyle which goes with it and move to a ranch. While living the life of a rancher Lou becomes aware that there is a protection racket preying on the ranchers in the area. Lou; with some help soon.
